What a spiffy picture, Bean. It's been a long time since I've seen a cow or sheep (living in Los Angeles... :( ). We used to have them all over Utah, but their numbers dwindle now, even there. Farmland is quickly being taken over by suburban sprawl.

I'm glad you called attention to "Bittercup." I looked at her face and thought she didn't look quite so pleased with you...I think she'd be very pretty otherwise though. And I think Fatass is pretty cute too. :)

You don't know how lucky you are to own so much land and have all the pets that you want..how is Hey! ?

So who's more likely to eat the other? Angry Cow or Perpetually-Eating Sheep?

Geo

It's good to see the kids doing well. Always
like to see the pics from Old Mac Beans farm.

I believe Buttercup could legally kill and eat you as well. (At least, I can't find any law against it.) The fact that she's let you live means that either she doesn't want to screw with the food supply, or that she knows that she'd likely face some reciprocal vigilante justice.

I think you've got more to fear from the sheep. She's so ready to eat your camera.

Buttercup looks strangely like Don Knotts.

Looks like a typical morning team to me!

Why does your cow have four ears? They look like antlers.

I'm guessing that thanks to Milagro's devotion, no lawnmower is necessary?

Any pics of Ham Sandwich?

this pic totally depressed me. I have a largely concrete backyard. and a dog (mr.crash). I would love to have a big piece of land with a bunch of animals on it. cheers to you for taking care of your "kids".

Since I first heard about your strongly worded letter site on Kroq, I find myself reading your blogs every chance I get through out the week to see what’s new.
I absolutely love Buttercup’s picture.
Great job Bean!! Love the blogs.
